Honeybadger Beans was born out of the dream of a 16-year-old schoolgirl who couldn’t wait to finish school and get out in the big business world. Knowing everyone wants life to be more enjoyable, Sage saw that starting the day was key. And for that, you’ll find no better companion than your daily cup of coffee. We wake up. Get dressed. Make coffee.
Growing up around business, with parents who have devoted their lives to helping people in business, kicking off her own was natural. But it had to make people happy. Nothing beats a great cup of coffee to start the day. It’s always there; when spending time with friends, relaxing for some quiet time on your own or when it comes to meeting new clients and making them comfortable, coffee is the go-to bevvie. But not just any coffee. None of that instant stuff, or the cheap and nasty grinds. Lovingly roasted here on the Sunshine Coast, Honeybadger Beans is the coffee you want. Honeybadger Beans is the coffee we want you to have. Sage has been fortunate to have had a Montessori education from the age of five, and it's this education that has taught her the valuable skills of entrepreneurship through our micro-economies. From contributing to running a working farm, growing a large variety of foods, raising chickens and egg production. She is passionate about fresh produce and delivering high-quality products.
The HoneyBadger was created by her father, who runs a litigation law firm, and the HoneyBadger was a way to identify the fierceness needed in to protect his clients. Sage knew what was missing was the sustenance to ensure the Honeybadger's fierceness could be sustained. And coffee was the answer.
Our comic, ‘The Adventures of Honeybadger and Lilly the Wonder Dog’ is written by Kyle Kimball and illustrated by David Boller, an insanely talented artist from Switzerland. Sage is currently involved in converting the comic book into a short film using voice-overs and animation.
Better beans for businesses! This is what our Honeybadger Beans stands for and strives to create.
